Hey, I’m Jen — I wear many hats but mostly I'm a creative soul, busy mum, and the hands and heart behind Hekseri. I live in rural Taranaki, New Zealand, where life is full of mud, magic, and making.

My journey into creating began with a simple desire to reduce waste. What started as a personal mission quickly turned into a lifestyle — one that’s more sustainable, more creative, less cluttered, better for my health, and gentler on the planet. It turns out that doing things the slow way, the thoughtful way, my way, brings me real joy.

I’m a qualified Aromatherapist and Hairdresser, with a deep love for herbs, holistic wellbeing, and nature. I’m constantly researching, learning, experimenting, and testing — always with the goal of creating simple, effective, sustainable products that I use for myself and my family. Everything I make is small-batch, multi-functional, refillable, and made with purpose.
